9 textual tiles hanging on the lids of an archival crate, the echo the diary of a place written by the artist at the “Culture Square” (Habimah Square) in Tel Aviv. They deal with the vast abyss of a shelter dug under the square, and also with its cover: hidden, paved doors that open during a war and lead to it. The graphic structure related to the covering tiles on the shelter in Habima Square and on Talmudic pages dealing with cities of refuge.
